About

Tim is an enthusiastic architect whose innovative design sensibility is underpinned by a steadfast dedication to professional excellence. With an inquisitive approach to architecture and a disciplined work ethic, Tim consistently delivers projects that elevate the built environment. Guided by a user-centered design ethos, Tim prioritizes the human experience, creating spaces that resonate on a personal level. His inside-out methodology places the human scale at the core of every project, ensuring both functionality and emotional resonance. Through collaborative partnerships with forward-thinking clients and consultants, Tim's approach fosters an environment of bold creativity, driving projects that challenge conventions and inspire innovation.

Tim’s diverse project experience in multifamily, higher-education, athletic facilities, masterplanning, retail, mixed-use, and cultural / performing arts institutions positions him as a variable Swiss Army knife of design. His strengths lie in rapid iterative design, meticulous attention to detail, and thoughtful inquiry into overlooked project nuances. Leveraging past research into building acoustics with a deep understanding of end-user needs, Tim crafts tailored design solutions that seamlessly integrate form, function, and experiential impact.

Tim is also dedicated to giving back to my community through numerous volunteer and pro-bono design efforts, including leading design teams at annual events such as Dallas CASA Parade of Playhouses, Gingertown at NorthPark Center, and participating as a fellow and mentor for the Auburn University College of Architecture, Design, and Construction’s annual Aydelott Travel Award Selection Committee

Tim is a dual-degree graduate of Auburn University's NAAB Accredited College of Architecture, Design, and Construction, with Bachelors of Architecture and Interior Architecture. He previously studied Interdisciplinary Humanities at Michigan State University with an emphasis in Performing Arts. As of November 2024, he is a Registered Architect in the great state of Texas

Past architecture honors include First Prize in the 49th annual Alabama Forestry Association (AFA) Wood Competition, Third Prize in the 2016 Veterinary Hospital/Clinic and Rehabilitation Center Competition, as a member of the team honored with the inaugural Alabama AIA Student Design Honor Award in 2017, and the recipient of Auburn University’s Aydelott Travel Award in 2017

His work can be found on display at the Third Space exhibit at the Birmingham Museum of Art in Birmingham, AL, at the Endangered Architecture: The Work of Bernt Nyberg traveling exhibit, and in the publication Lewerentz's St. Petri at 50: Context, Fragments, and Influence by Prof. Matthew Hall

In his free time, he sincerely enjoy beating my friends and family at fantasy football, drinking good coffee, baking for his husband, and spoiling our dog
